Restoration Hardware 1900's Machinist Sconce Rewired and Plugged In
In designing my bachelor-style apartment, I didn't follow the constraints of decorating for the Art Deco period but I did compliment it with some restored and replicated pieces. I commissioned this sconce ordered from Restoration Hardware to be rewired with a red cloth cord and to be a plug-in style rather than hardwired. In addition, I painted a thin coat of gold enamel to accentuate the the glow of Edison Bulb.
