Traditional Wingback Chair
This was my first reupholstering experience. I found this chair near the dumpster, torn up.
This project was made for my father's Personal Library in their Victorian home, as a guest and/or reading chair. The fabric and stain match the bookcases, hardwood floor and globe stand in the room. It is in the same style as their office chair. This project took me over a month from day one, of finding it to eventually putting it in the room. I learned how to do it all from articles online but next time, I'll consider purchasing a guide. Estimating the number of yards and nail heads was the biggest challenge besides removing all the old furniture nails/staples.
